Fall Fellowship Dinner/Dessert Tea

    Each November we used to host a Fellowship Dinner where everyone was invited to share in a wonderful meal.  We have now changed the Dinner to a Dessert Tea held on the 1st Sunday of November in the afternoon.  There is a time of fellowship, an introduction of club teachers, a special music presentation and some uplifting encouragement from God's Word.




Family Skate

  During the Christmas break we hold a "Free Family Skate" that is open to all club members, their families and friends.  The ice rink is rented by Elgin Area Bible Club so there is plenty of room for experienced as well as novice skaters.  The event includes draw prizes, hot chocolate and chips.

Spring Rally

    Near the end of our club year (end of April) we invite all the club children, their family & friends to attend our Spring Rally.  The Rally has consisted of game stations set up around the room.  The children go from game to game trying to complete the requirements laid out for that game.  Win or not, everyone has fun participating!  The Alma Houghton Award is given out to those students in grades 5-8 that have taken part in the contest.  Also, those that have perfect attendance receive a medallion with their name engraved on it.  The afternoon is completed with a free hot dog lunch provided to all who attend the event.
